We have been reviewing for the final. Reviewing review packets on grammar and verb conjugations. Each student is writing (on flashcards) what they need to learn (from the review packets) for the final exam.

Spanish II Irregular preterite verb song

Tener es TUVE, estar ESTUVE
ir es FUI y tambien ser.
Poner es PUSE, poder es PUDE,
traje es para traer.

Hacer es HICE, querer es QUISE
haber HUBE, saber SUPE.
Decir es DIJE, venir es Vine,
ver VI, dar DI…no acentos.

endings for all except the verbs below:
e, iste, o, imos, ieron

HACER- e, iste, hizo,imos, ieron
IR/SER- fui, fuiste, fue, fuimos, fueron
DECIR/TRAER- same endings except -eron (3rd person plural)

We had a practice quiz on vocabulary 3:1 and La Cucaracha Verb Song. We also practiced our country presentations in small groups today. Do Cuaderno Escribir B 3:2 for homework and review for the test on Wednesday.

We had a practice vocabulary quiz of all the chapter vocabulary (including months and numbers). Do Cuaderno A Culture 3:2. Chapter test next Wednesday.
